  • Undra Sheppard, 31, Cape Coral, was arrested on charges of solicitation for purposes of prostitution.

  • Christopher Watson, 24, Cape Coral, was arrested on charges of solicitation for purposes of prostitution.

On Friday, January 25th, 2013 at the Fort Myers Police Department’s Special Investigations Group with the assistance of uniformed officers conducted an undercover "John's Operation" on Cleveland Avenue. The operation was in response to citizen complaints of street prostitution. Female officers posed as street prostitutes in an attempt to be solicited by individuals looking to receive sexual acts for money.

Five women and two men were arrested during an undercover prostitution sting in Fort Myers Wednesday afternoon and evening, according to Lee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives, assisted by the Street Crimes Unit, set up a sting operation at a Punta Gorda motel and made four arrests Thursday, May 17.

The Fort Myers Police Department arrested nine people in a prostitution sting along the Cleveland Avenue corridor on Friday. The sweep follows a late April sting that netted 12 arrests and a Feb. 28 sting that netted 7 arrests.

Twelve people were arrested during an undercover prostitution operation along the Cleveland Avenue corridor in Fort Myers on Friday.
