Bad Ass Coffee Co. of Hawaii got its name from hard-working donkeys that carried heavy loads of coffee down Hawaii’s mountains, and according to the company’s legend, those donkeys were called the “Kona nightingales” for their echoing bellows.
Drinks range from simple brewed coffee ($1.50 for 12 ounces) to flavored lattes ($3 for 12 ounces), and everything can be made hot or iced.
The shop also offers a full line of unique merchandise that reflects the “Aloha Spirit” of a true Bad Ass.
