There is an abundance of gleaming dark cherry wood, and the addition of white butcher paper over the thick white linen tablecloths takes away any snooty feel. Zanadu leaves in huge, contemporary cut-glass vases add touches of color.
In the mood for lighter fare? You'll find it here. Diners will find a plentiful array of sandwiches, burgers, small plates and salads at lunch or dinner. Since the owners of Bricktop's are from Tennessee, a state known for excellent ribs, the baby-backs are a "can't miss" choice.
For dessert, head straight for the house banana split, which includes homemade ice cream.
