Description
If you like that pseudo 18th-century English country inn look that major steakhouse chains resurrected in the 1970s and 1980s, you'll get a kick out of E.B.'s. Get things started with the stuffed mushrooms - jumbo mushrooms caps stuffed with an herb and garlic cheese dip, crisp fried and partnered with a zippy horseradish cream sauce. Keep it going with a cut of prime rib, or if you're in the mood for "light fare", go with an open-faced turkey sandwich or southwestern chicken. And the food's not the only thing that goes down smoothly at E.B.'s. Chances are you'll be able to stomach the prices here easier than you will just across the bridge on Fifth Avenue.
