Description: The Island Country Club features a championship 18 hole, par 72 golf course with greens built to USGA specifications. Island Country Club was originally designed by Dave Wallace in 1966 "the father of the modern golf course". We were redesigned in 1991 by the "Squire" himself Gene Sarazen. The club works with designer Gordon Lewis for assistance with maintaining a master plan to keep the golf course current in today's standards. Today our golf course boasts 150 acres of real estate. The 150 acres consist of: 27 acres of lakes (all but 3 holes include a water challenge), 4 acres of fairways, 45 green side bunkers, 36 fairway bunkers, continuous cart path from tee to green, 4 sets of tees and acres of rich Florida landscapes keeping with our island flair.
