About Joey's Pizza and Pasta House - Marco Island
Description
Whenever the kids ask to go out for pizza, Joey's Pizza and Pasta House is the right place to go.
Joey's menu certainly reflects his hometown and the "Chicago Specials" section leaves little doubt as to where owner Joey Oliverio learned the tricks of the culinary trade.
Joey's Way Calamari, for $9.95, is a treat for lovers of hot, garlicky and spicy foods. With fried calamari sautéed with garlic, olive oil and served with Chicago-style hot peppers, this jewel of a starter is just one reason why Joey's has a very loyal following. For aficionados of garlic and hot, this appetizer is essential
The pizza at Joey's has something for everyone. From the New York-style of traditional thin crust to the Chicago classic of thick crust to "Joey's Way," specializing in a paper-thin crust, pizza lovers from everywhere will have no problems making a selection.
The Caprese salads are another popular menu item. With thick sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, basil and red onions, served over greens with a balsamic vinaigrette, this salad is large enough to be shared.

Calamri-Joey's way...do die for
Management was lacking personality...poor choice even though recommend from a fine fast food establishment in Chicago. Free advice, take it from a good proprietor, know your customers....glorified pizzeria. Sorry Joey's..concentrate on your business

Whaddya want!? It's Marco Island afterall!
Lovely italian restaurant with an emphasis for pizza on the menu. Nice setting with indoor and outdoor tables. Pay attention to the off-menu specials!
We particularly enjoy the appetizer menu and routinely order the Fra Diavolo. There's nothing else like that dish on the island - it's crisp and spicy! The peppers are both sour and hot and compliment the calamari exquisitely.
Joey's is also quite inexpensive compared to the rest of the island's restaurants. It's a decent italian restaurant DINNER at a typical Marco Island LUNCH price.
It's relaxed yet cosmopolitan. It's not for the Connor's or Andre's crowd. Otherwise, check it out.

Pretty good food, but the prices are insane! $20 for a plate of pasta with meat sauce? Really? But it's one of the better places on Marco for food. If you don't mind spending a pay check for dinner then go for it.
