About Buzz's Lighthouse Restaurant
Description
Buzz's is tucked among some of North Naples' priciest real estate. It's a Frisbee toss from the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, for example. Although dwarfed by new and recently remodeled high- and low-rise buildings, old-fashioned charm makes the small, wooden structure stand out.
While it's true meals aren't served in a white-linen tablecloth kind of place, Buzz's Lighthouse Restaurant on Gulfshore Drive has the virtue of a water view, in this case Vanderbilt Lagoon. And its lobster tail entrée comes with the requisite sides: a baked spud with butter and sour cream plus excellent, creamy coleslaw.
No, it isn't a big, fat tail. Just five ounces. But that's OK because it doesn't carry a big, fat bottom line, either. At just $14 — it's still one of the best seafood bargains around.
