Biography

I grew up in Naples and my passion for journalism began just up the street from the Naples Daily News' office on Immokalee Road at Gulf Coast High School. During high school I had a soft spot for my english and journalism classes and completed an internship with a local magazine before graduation. After graduation I moved to Orlando to attend college at the University of Central Florida where I was accepted into the journalism program. I held an editorial internship with Orlando Magazine for a year before becoming news editor of UCF's student newspaper, the Central Florida Future, in 2010. I switched from covering campus news to covering Orlando entertainment news as variety editor of the Future before graduating from UCF. I held a position as community reporter for the Seminole Chronicle before moving back to Naples and joining the Daily News.

In my free time, you'll find me at the dog beach with my American Dingo, Ranger, or reading up on fashion or crime news.
