Biography
Debbie Landreth, Controller for the Naples News Media Group, including the Naples Daily News, has been with the Naples based Scripps company since May 2003.Within her first few months with the paper, Sarbanes-Oxley Act became the buzz words in the finance world. Landreth played a key role in defining and implementing the standards and controls by which Scripps operates today.
Debbie was chosen for her unique blend of experience and management talents. Her time as Controller has moved the company forward in audit and compliance, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, streamlining and efficiencies, and in team-building.
Before joining the Daily News and moving to Naples, Landreth lived for four years in Alpharetta, GA, where she was Manager of Accounting for the eBusiness Services division of ADP (1999 to 2001). She later joined Dominion Consulting Group (2001 to 2003 - consulting and management of healthcare networks) in Atlanta as Controller & Operations Manager, where she managed finance and accounting, operations and human resources.
Prior to her time in Georgia, Landreth was Controller & Director of Human Resources for ADMO, Inc. (1991 to 1999 - custom plastic injection molders and engineers) in Schaumburg/Elgin, IL. There she was responsible for finance and accounting, human resources, customer service and operations.
A native of Chicago, Landreth is a graduate of DePaul University. She has extensive experience in Accounting & Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Project Management.
Fulfilling a life-long dream to live in paradise, Debbie now resides in Naples with her husband Greg, and their two Siberian Huskies. Debbie and Greg enjoy boating, walking on the beach and enjoying all the natural beauty that Naples has to offer.
