Her college summer internships included The Bakersfield Californian in 1999, The Los Angeles Daily News in 2000, The (Newark, N.J.) Star-Ledger in 2001, and the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, Minn. in 2002.

The City of Naples laid more than 20,000 eggs in three hours Saturday for the annual Bunnymania event at Fleischmann Park. As soon as the eggs were down, they were snatched back up by running, screaming and laughing children.
