One of Fort Myers' newest activities is the PetWalk. This event is held once a month by the River District Alliance (RDA) in downtown Fort Myers. This event is free to the public and welcomes all leashed and well-behaved pets with their owners, to spend some time in the River District. Naples Dog Park

The Naples Dog Park gives your pets the chance to run free on an acre of land. This area is fenced with greens and mulch for pets to play. It also includes less than half of an acre for small dogs. The center of the park holds a shaded area known as "The Palmer House" for owners. There are water fountains for both owners and pets, benches and picnic areas to eat some snacks. Naples Art in the Park
