It is so funny how bloggers seem to think that by striking the keys on their keyboard suddenly makes them experts where everyone is interested in their opinions.

The blogs above are just another perfect example of meaningless rambling with no basuis in fact. MICA has been LEGALLY appointed by Deltona Corporation as the "Authorized Agency" to act on behalf of the Deltona Corporation for the enforcement of Architectural Issues and Deed Restrictions. Yes, for those of you that were not aware, each and every property on Marco Island is subject to Deed Restrictions that are, in most cases, more restrictive than zoning guidelines.
There are no "voting" for or against MICA and for those students of history, if not for MICA, our Island would be MUCH more developed than it is now.
So thank you MICA and keep up the good work you are appointed to do !!!

The lines for Farmers Market vendors were so obvious because there were few people to distract one's attention.

Maybe the people mentioned above should look in the mirror and then they may have a clue of why no one showed up.

WTF? 10 stories? Panhandling?? Panaranoid old geezers ruin this place. Im not for making Marco a tourist trap, in fact i stand with the homeowner/ condo owners on Marco but come on.. A tastful well designed garage 3 stories or so high. Puts all the vehicles in one controlled area and can be an income generator to help pay for the construction, upkeep and security of the unit.
We can pass a city ordinance to shoot on site any hot dog vendors who dare tresspass near the new Mike Minozzi parking complex.

If you happen to be walking on the beach and try to get to Collier Blvd. by going through the gate, or trying to show the beach to a prospective Buyer, you will be harassed.

Sooo funny! I live across the street at the sands and i see that clown all the time barking at people who try to invade the beaches of MICA. One 4 th of July he tried to stop a group of about 30 of us from getting by the gate. He gave up after about 200 people went by on the other side of his guard shack while he was patrolling us...lol
