in response to MrBreeze: August8 and fan club 20&out. Better brush up on the law when you are searching the web. Explain how you are saving the public (spelled right) dollars when the person is going to jail, having to post bond, hire a lawyer and fight the charges. How is not impounding the car saving so much dollars. The arrested party pays the tow & impound fee or lose the vehicle. No public dollars spent. Maybee you should read up on the Law. If a person is called to "operate" the vehicle in question follow now this may be hard for you, the MIPD turn over "custody" of the vehicle to said driver that was called how would MIPD confirm that the vehicle was insured for this "substitute driver" to legally operate on the public roadway. Say two blocks away the new driver runs you over and then you claim your injured. The driver has no coverage as it is not their vehicle, the insurance is denied, MIPD turned over custody to the "new driver". Who is liable? In your spare time (all day) burn some of Mom's electric in a usefull way and try to come up with a answer. That is why Law Enforcement Tow and Impound vehicles. The chain of custody is not broken. But you already new that right smart guys.

I have the answer you want, you are as simply incompetent as your pal and have zero common sense. Why I would ever joust with you is a problem of mine as you have no logic or cogent thoughts. It's anger, missery and self-centeredness that comes accross and that's it.Shish Mr Breeze, just Shish you are not a very smart person.Yea, type a little fast at imes and make spelling errors on occassion, so? All this from a gut that spells "Beech" correctly but your lack of intellectual thought is far more glaring.SHISH OLD GUY !!!Go take your dump and stare !!
in response to MrBreeze: 20andout If you read the article he was arrested and sited for Operating With a suspended license. That was a Motor Vehicle not a bicycle. He was stopped for a License Plate Tag Light not a bell on a bicycle. That is where the vehicle is in play. In my town the vehicle is impounded when the driver is ARRESTED. No calling in drivers. August says $$$$$$ saved when feasible. How about the bond to get out of jail. This is plain and stupid. What type of Police Agency would allow someone who is under arrest to Call a driver to the scene to drive away the car. Sounds like poor work to me.

Regardless of what it sounds like to you it does not work the way you seem to think. If a vehicle is involved in a crime that is one thing but when the stop was for an infraction which resulted in the driver not having a legal right to drive law enforcment do have optons believe it or not.Anytime the police can avoid taking responsibility for property such as a vehicle the tax payer has less exposure to claims involving theft of property or damage, a good thing $$$$$, right?Mr Breeze, flip through some re-runs of CSI and perhaps you can pick up on a few things. In any case to save the pulic dollars is right up your alley, correct?

in response to MrBreeze: Again August Badgeman, Tell me where any other jurisdiction where you allow a person under arrest to call a driver for the car. Sounds like either they realize the stop is weak or the are poor at the job. End of story that is what they make tow trucks and Impound yards for. So why don't you wake up. 20 and out. When the violent Felon is under arrest do you then allow him to call someone to drive his vehicle away? That must be Marco Compassion towards the Violent Felon here on the island.

Not sure what you mean about violent felon, if you can explain? Yes, common practice for any police agency to avoid vehicle impounds when feasible.$$$$, should make sense to you? That should include all jurisdictions bye the way.The end of the story is the child being prevented from harm, see any connection fella?
in response to RayPray: Rogue cops decided to get Terry. Come up with this common fake light stop charge. Lure Terry into this bogus child neglect charge, none of which is even vaguely established. Case gets tossed if Terry can afford a decent lawyer.

in response to 20andout: Mr. Breeze, We should thank god that Dirtbag of a man had a defective light on his car. He might of got away with leaving a baby alone and god knows what would of happen. MIPD GREAT JOB!!!!!. Please keep pulling people over for defective equitment on a vehicle being driven. Remember not everyone gets a summons or arrested when the police stop them for Defective equitment, most get warnings. Some violent Felons have been arrested because something wasnt right with there vehicle!......Again GREAT JOB!!!!!!!

Exactly 20andout, very good. Problem is, Mr Breeze so busy counting pennies that he does not look out and see what really takes place. This was an excellent job by the Marco Men & woman as usual !!!He should be so lucky to sit back and complain !!
in response to MrBreeze: "suspicion of a tag light violation" then "officers asked if he knew anyone who could drive his car home" The tag light is the oldest trick in the book to stop a vehicle. It is used as a tool to get at the very least a "defective violation" but in the bigger picture used to further the stop. The big question here is when the person under arrest is then allowed to call someone to drive their car home???? I would think that the car would be towed and impounded for the driver was under arrest. So, on one hand the MIPD stops you for a bulb and on the other they want to save the felon from tow & impound fees. That sounds off to me. Notice to all criminals: Precheck your vechicle for bulbs and safety items before coming to Marco Island. Also have a driver on call just in case. What a joke.

Mr Breeze, I see your back speaking of jokes? Tag, yes check them it is a violation and courtesy yes which is what Marco Police did when they allowed him the call to get a driver,so?Bottom line, a baby left home alone is discovered and potentially saved from harm, what a deed the cops performed.Mr Breeze, Shish, you are still a silly old tight wad. Oh, we may get a bump, $12 bucks but a new boat is needed 1st.A little help ,pleae, please !!!!!
Just another example of the fine law enforcement in the Maro Island Community !

Even young Republicans believes that the future of America is in better hand by liberal Democrats. The good old boys club of conservative Republicans is over. Thanks whom ever. Maybe Mitt Romney. A very realistically young man this guy Radel. Maybe in 16 year a good front runner.

Try changing your use of certain spelling and cut and paste techniques so that we can better distinguish you from your other self Klaus. By the way I do enjoy busting your chops, it is so much fun.

MRBreeze, it's difficult for you to spell or think I know but you really have no earthly idea what your saying or who you are communicating with.Very few of your posts have anything constructive only sarcasm and anger which is so transparent.I have never said anything to anyone as to who or what I am so stop old fella, you look foolish.I do not really mind if you call me names or insult me that's ok as long as it's in the spirit of a little fun but when your posts lack any thought or a cogent argument then ask yourself, what the heck am I doing??? Do you really want everyone thinking you are nothing but a cheap old man that hates sending me my $11 bucks? Finally, I realize , that's comming from a "fraud" as you call me, that the long days in the dark theatre can get to anyone so take another little cruise on your reliable little scooter and give your comments some thought as you are also angering others on the site. So, Shish MrBreeze !!!!!!Oh, and support your local law enforcement.

in response to MrBreeze: August meathead, so "hot pursuit" means we can come into your home and search the panty drawer. I would like to see that happen where you fools would let your home be searched. Second, after your posts I would rather be on my own then to have you show up at the door. Lastly, Nice try sport "just outside of the perimiter" where the "old man" who was worried about his boat went out to check to see if the badgemen shot it to pieces the night before. Was not the perimiter the whole city? Was not the firefight in the same area the night before? Why was August8 not called in to solve the crime and catch the perp?Answer: He was looking for the next 11.00 bucks off the taxpayers backs.

Try some facts MrBreeze instead of sarcasm all the time? I have not read any stories about panty drawers, have you? You know that's a pretty spooky thing to say right WMissow? So, be on your own I doubt anyone I know or respect would want it any other way.Your home should be the last place that law enforcement would go to and hopefully the bad guy is, well, not there, Hee-Hee.Facts MrBreeze, the perimeter seach was established subsequent to the gun fight and the boat and home were just outside the margin unfortunately. But, no one was hurt so the capture was successful, are you unhappy about that? No, the perimeter was not the whole city even though the whole city was on lock down,so?The law enforcement pro's in Boston and I mean the police did an excellent job and did not need assitance from anyone. I personally am not a fan of this City but I would say that the police response was just excellent in all respects. So MrBreeze, instead of writing a bunch of nonsense on this blog and calling me names, consider having a drink later today and take a little ride on your electric powered scooter for some fresh air.Perhaps this will help you clear your head old boy. Hey, why not invite your back-ups on this site, that would be quite a quinella, Hee-Hee.Hey also, my six honies do have a lot of fun on this side of the Jolly Bridge and your $11 bucks helps more than you know so thanks old timer, thanks !!Congradulations to our local law enforcement as well !!!!!!
