The State not indivduals have sovereignty. The states created the federal government not the people.Like it or not there are no limits to the police power of the states within the constitution. Although I had not voted for Obama in the 2008 election, primarily because of the Democrat's platform. Nonetheless, I was consoled by the fact that our Country had actually elected its first Black president. Back then little was known about the man. The more I learn about him and his policies, the more I have to disagree with. I had hoped that he would finally usher in a new era where racism was dead. Instead he has consistently disappointed me and millions of other Americans with his divisive, far-left agenda. I don't dislike the man, but hate what he is doing. I thought Jimmy Carter was worst president ever, until now!
