The smart thing "Tony" should have done was call 911 when he found the car. It is not advisable to approach any vehicle using your cell phone as a weapon.This story could of ended with the headline "Store worker killed over $18 refund".

But when City Manager Bill Moss makes budget recommendations to the City Council later this summer, he won’t ask that money be set aside for the center, Parks and Recreation Director Dana Souza said.....Hey Bill perhaps one less street light per block on Collier Blvd. would of covered the cost for the teen center.Better yet two less street lights per block would of covered the teen center and the water park. I could think of 135 million ways to have this project done. Fact is when it comes to the residents of Marco Island we once again get the back seat. How does the saying go? A rolling stone carries no moss. Hopefully you will be rolling right out the back door.

Do not think the new hospital on 951 is any different. I rushed my son over there last month with a 104 fever and severe Asthma.We saw the triage nurse after over an hour and then waited for another two plus hours before we got up and left.Total time of wait was over three hours and we did not even see a doctor.The receptionist asked me where Marco Island was and if it was in Collier County.(true story)Scary but true!

Born and raised on Marco for sure! So the Police Officers are selling drugs? ROFL!! I am still waiting for an answer.

You started off strong MI177 but you lost it somewhere in between "drug-dealer" and "aren't bad people".You have made some bold statements.Please post the names of all the Police Officers who are using/selling drugs on Marco Island.Also please post the restaurant where you work so we can all come on down and do a few lines for happy hour.Tell me will it be 2 for 1 as well?

We are an opinionated society but there is a right time and place for that,not here.Respect the family and friends of the deceased girl.They are all feeling a pain worse than death and that pain is living with the loss.
