To the Editor:
The feature writer on the Lt. Bernice Burmese Python story is to be commended for his thoroughness. I was at the scene. He and the rest of the crew were very patient in the process and very kind as well. Extra appreciation is due to Capt. Mike Levine of the Civil Air Patrol and Linda Levine, both of For The Love of Cats, for spearheading the major effort to save the python. A round of applause is due to the Marco and Isles of Capri Fire Departments, Everglades Outpost, the Civil Air Patrol, Cadet Ian Waters, and finally Cadet Aidan Brennan.
