Why is it that the same people always find fault with something in our City, thank God we have left the sewer issue behind us, now the lights!!!. What will be next? I am sure they will find something else to complaint. It's time that some of you start "thinking outside the same box" of criticism you have always been.

lilhalls do I sense some sarcasm on your comments, or was that constructive criticism? Collier Blvd is so beautiful, but your anger against anything the City does blinds you. You need a different pair of sunglasses than the ones you are requesting from the City, they are only dispense by a psychologist and I recommend you see one soon or move out of the City. I don't think you will be able to handle the next 4 years without a nervous breakdown. Take my advice and leave.

Hawke1 you sound like a whiner to me. I have never seen a positive comment from you; that's why people respond to your comments the way Rachael did. I look forward to your comments of support for the newly elected official as you indicate. Words are cheap, should I sit down while I wait for your positive comments.

Glenn thank you for all you did for our City and for all the time you spent away from your family doing the people's business. People like hawke1 probably don't realize that serving in our Council is a sacrifice for all 7 members, no matter whether or not you agree with their views.

On There from the start: Tucker, longest serving Marco councilor, to step aside

I have an advice to all with an IQ not as big as Ed Foster!!!!. By the way he is the only intelligent person I know that brags about his IQ, I guess he is not so smart!!! All 6000 of us dummies and misinformed Marco residents spoke loud and clear at the last election. People like Foster, Roger Hall, "alias lolala" are now irrelevant. Foster left town already, Godfrey Davies is on his way out, and I expect Hall will follow. Paradise lost, Paradise regained. Let's all ignore their comments in the future.

Lolala we will all be happy when we see a for sale sign on your home at Osprey Ct. Smokey Joe your name is very appropiate, you probably had two much weed on your younger years and it has taken a toll on your brain. Poor maharg, he lives in Paradise, but he feels that Paradise has been lost, he had the same problem with his 3 friends that wouldn't let him enjoy the movie he wanted to see. Ed Issler you are a great American, you say it like it really is.

On Sewer hookup violators get their day in quasi-court

Ed Foster you left Dodge City because you couldn't take the heat. We are glad you are gone forever. These people had no intention of connecting to the sewer. They had hoped for a different election result and they were going to stick everybody else on Marco with the penalty for them not connecting to the sewers. They made their choice and should accept the penalty for violating the law and not connecting by January 8, why don't you ask Colombo to write a letter asking City Council to pay for their hook up. Ed please remember you are a nobody, your base is gone, even your friend Enman has some common sense to know that is over. I am enjoying imagining your face reading this and your blood pressure going up, you looser.

If you have a rotten apple and you remove it, why would you pick an apple from the barrel where the rotten apple came from. Replacing Batte for Kiester is putting another rotten apple back into the barrel. Mr. Kiester will be recalled and the elected Councilors at their total discretion will decide who replaces him until the next election. I am sure they are not going to pick somebody that was rejected by the voters of Marco Island by such an unprecedented margin.

On Collier judge finds Marco council member guilty of records violation

I don't believe Mr. Kiester is going to resign, his charracter flaws won't allow him to see things as they really are. I am sure his advisors are also telling him to stay put, which is good so we can really throw him out. There is a recall committee that is being formed at this time and all of you asking for his resignation will have an opportunity to join this effort. This recall will be based on facts unlike the previous one by his buddy Mr. Hall, he has been convicted by the Court, it will be easy to collect all the signatures this time of the year for the recall. We are not going to let him off the hook.

Russ you are dangerous and vindictive. You don't have an ounce of civility in you. Instead of building fences all you want is to continue to destroy our Paradise. The people of Marco have seen you with this letter for what you are: a vindictive funny. It's time for you to move out of Marco Island.
