Corporations are using loopholes to lower or eliminate their tax bills. Does this not trouble you as a so-called conservative? Also, since March 2010 the private sector has added nearly 3 million jobs, while the public sector has shed nearly 300,000 jobs. Why aren't Republicans jumping for joy? “I believe that the worst is yet to come,” he said. “The government keeps spending money the country doesn’t have, and I think the unemployment rate is going to rise even higher.”
This is the problem with conservative thinking. Jobs just don't fall out of the sky. You have to spend to create them. The private sector is not creating jobs through investment. Many private investors have cold feet. They will not act until things start to pick up in general. That leaves the government. We are in a recession people. Conservatives keep using this deficit thing as an excuse so they don't have to deal with the real issue. No conservative remembers what got us out of the depression: government spending. Stop the madness. People are going to be in serious trouble.
