What is the delay?? The article said the couple is willing to front the money for immediate replacement. The first one took almost a year to clear the political hurdles. What a waste of time! I suppose they'll wait til just before hurricane season to install this one. CAUTION; "Geniuses at Work"

Pretty amazing that part time residents get involved quietly, donate the pole and move on. Unlike alot of the cranky codgers that do nothing more than crab and pontificate on this blog. The flag is glorious! Thank you to everyone involved!

I understand the entire flagpole has already been donated. How much more $$ do they need to raise for replacement flags? This sounds like an Obama administration operation!
