Great piece! What great timing too. The tradgedy thats taking place on Marco Island is a great example of staying positive.
There is a select group of individuals who want to turn this paradise into West Miami, and the majority of the islanders who want to stop them.
You mentioned Ben Franklin in your piece, a man of great conviction, devotion and moral standards second to none!
There was a time when Ben Franklin was considered a treasonist a 'MALCONTENT' a bad guy by a corrupt government and their elitist cronies(loyalists).
But as we all know how history turned out these 'MALCONTENTS' stood fast against the corrupt government of Great Britian, and now today thanks to these MALCONTENTS we have the greatest nation on earth, the United States of America.
So I say to all the MACONTENTS on Marco, stay positive, don't let this government and their cronies get you down, we have the moral obligation as Americans to (in the spirit of Ben Franklin and our forefathers)stand and fight in the face of a government gone bad.
