the building inspectors on marco do their job...and do it well...the move to the county is going to cause all kinds of problems...delays being only one....i have never found the inspectors to be partial to a particular contractor and have always found them to be helpful and complete. as an aside, most contractors on the island go to the city for advice/guidance from the inspectors on a regular basis...this will all change now that a contractor has to go to the county...and wait all day.
