It all started with a mass manipulator named Bill Moss. Armed with two luietenants a couple of seargants and a handful of foot soldiers, set out to turn our beloved paradise into 'HIS VISION'.
When they ran his butt out of No. Myrtle Beach a few years ago, Moss was not to be detured, his vision of Mossville would now be exacted on a no-named paradise called Marco Island.
Problems with Mr. Moss's plan to Urbanize this paradise hit a few snags.
First, Moss should have done his homework, don't try to sweep the dust under the rug where you have perhaps the highest concentration of retired, CEO's, CFO's, Scientist's Economist's, Culturist's and all the other "ist's" in the country(I wonder if ole Bill still wishes he took a job in Tuscaloosa?)
And so he enlisted all those who he knew would favor his radical views-business folk! Chamber of Commerce to be percise. I can't blame the Chamber for falling under his guises, so suttle, so positive, so ... in the meantime the Chamber had lost its path, its roots- it lost the community.
I've seen so many good people follow this Moss into the "bunker" as if brain-washed, they stand defiant against reason and logic, they stand(and they know it)on the loosing side of the battle.
I've seen Monte Lazarus cuss out a woman at a city hall meeting, I've read where councillor Popoff said he was going to 'sick' his friend Tarik Aslum on Ed Foster from CARES and made a mock bet with Mr. Moss that "he's placing his money on his boy Tarik"
Are you Kidding me?
Civility, we need to address civility.
the behavior of this city, staff, council and business representives is ___________ (you fill in the blank.)
I ask all of you take a step back and look what you've done to your neighbors, your friends and your families in some cases. When you have to sacrafice a minister to get up there and do your dirty work for you- don't you at some time, when your relaxed and out of 'Moss Character' sit back and say "where did I get lost?
