Issler,
Methinks thou dost protest too much.

So very true. I am so glad to see someone else take notice. You would think that they would be ashamed of themselves. I am personally amazed at this, but then I tend to be politically naive, I admit.
Oddly enough, Mr. Magel proposed voting to change the CAP, yet the amendment went down with a landslide of 80% of the vote. Where were his voters? Were they thinking voters? One has to wonder, but seems obvious to me as to what happened. What then was the true issue that caused the bullet vote? I think that I know.
PS As regards the term "slate". The only one that I am aware of is the Arceri CM slate and they won again. Let's try to be honest here Mr. Issler. I really don't think that anyone is particularly fooled.
PPS Mr. Issler: You get far too much credit on these pages. You are but a "useful idiot". Sad, but most certainly true. No doubt that they laugh at you behind your back.
"The Chamber is not in business to cater to Marco residents."
An interesting comment. Makes one think.
in response to Montel: Foster, why all the interest in Marco politics? I will trust the council and city attorney on proper procedure at the meeting before I would trust Ed Foster. What Foster doesn't know is that when he turned in the asbestos Tucker saved his rear from prosecution and an investigation. Tucker was an unusual man, even though he despised Foster and at times treated him with disdain, he still saved him from himself.

Such BS. Foster was never in any danger of prosecution because he never committed a crime of any sort. Where do you come up with this crap?

I have NO aliases. I have on numerous occassions given permission to the Eagle to reveal any and all aliases that I have EVER had and I do so again. I have sat with Bill Green and discussed this issue with him. You are welcome to call him and confirm this.
YOU sir, are the coward.
Ditto!
" People who didn't like his politics called him many things - arrogant, yes -bully, at times - liar, never."
Ummm, EXCUSE ME, but I called Tucker a liar and he finally admitted to it in council when pressed by Ed Foster. There never were any photos of citizens placing asbestos in the parks as Tucker repeatedly claimed. HE LIED.....period.
in response to liberator100: Ed Asbestos Planter Foster: Make my day; go right ahead and sue me.Do you think I am afraid of a little weasel like you? RayPray: Tucker was anything but a "little man". You are such a sick puppy!

You ARE afraid sir, or you would sign your name. YOU sir are the weasel....just as Tucker was when he admitted lying about having evidence of citizens planting asbestos in the parks...tons of it and buried three feet below the surface. Let's get real here.
Lisa,
To quote you: " I for one am proud that Mr. Kiester supported the naming. He showed real leadership and compassion. Mr. Kiester was the victim of a lot of Tuckers abuse. If he can put Tuckers crass behavior behind him why can't you all?"
