I have had the priviledge of knowing and working with Butch for a few years now. As I see it, he is a person of outstanding integrity, character and a true leader willing to bring our city back to the people. As a fellow candidate, I am very proud to have a true leader such as Butch join the fight for doing the right thing for the people. When I look across the council table and see Butch there with me in January, I will know without a doubt that the people of Marco have indeed elected a GIANT ready to at last, represent them!

Thanks for all the positive & encouraging comments, as well as your suggestions. I have started w/an ear towards the people & I will end w/my ear towards the people! I look forward to working hard w/many of you in the days to come, in our attempt to get our city back!

The continuance of the STRP is bad for the Island and the 40% of the victims of the STRP don't want it. The City council knows this, but is locked into it to bring new users in so as to get the funds to repair and expand the broken down treatment plant. This newest scheme of a referendum to sugar coat continuance of this tragedy is born out of the pressure being brought on the group of 5 on the council. If RIGHT is to be the motivation, why not have 2 questions on the referendum, the $10,000.CAP as well as SHOULD THE STRP BE DISCONTINUED.

On Should the city council consider a referendum that would cap all sewer assessments at $10,000?
