You also need to think about the victim in D'allesandro's reckless , I can do anything , attitude. Or the rest of the victims of his incompetence. I hope that woman he nearly killed is ok and healing. I don't know her but my sympathy is with her, not him!!!!

I also do not relish in the misfortunes of others, however with that said, if you had read my post you would've seen my joy comes from D'allesandro doing this to himself.No pity from me. He deserved to get fired. Ed is and always has been a liar in my book. He was definately not one of Marco's finest in my opinion as well. Drinking a slurpee while directing traffic is not who I want to be paying a salary to. Not to mention he didn't do his job objectively, fairly or accurately. Now I suggest you go wash your mouth out with soap, you pig.

Cappysue, no one is saying that drinks at the esplanade are inappropriate. What we are saying is that drinking when on the job is inapproriate and illegal when you are driving a vehicle. For years it has been known that the Carrs are nasty drunks and Carr has been caught before drinking and driving in his police vehicle. If that was you , you can bet your sweet a-- you'd be in jail with a DUI. Well he needs to be too!

I don't know the policeman who's suing Carr but Marco Islanders need to wake up and smell the coffee. This is not new behavior from Carr. Previous City Council members have known about his "drinking problem" for years. And I'm glad someone else brought up the 4th of July incident. (Drunk in his police car with a beer in his pocket.) That's just one incident. Reinke even banned him from drinking on the island but council and city manager just let this go on. I'm sure they will just bury their heads again and chalk it up to a disgruntled former employee. Bull crap. Pena was let go too and he did an exemplary job, he just wasn't a yes man to Carr's corrupt ways. Carr needs to go and take his self serving wife with him. The rest of the force won't rat him out because there will be repercussions. Sadly, none of this will matter in a month and Carr will still be working, uhh humm, I mean drinking.

I have to give Minozzi credit. When he doesn't get his way he just keeps on trying and trying till he wears his constituents down and they finally acquiesce.
He is determined to have a toll regardless of what the people want or the fact that it is the States responsibility.

I can't even count how many years ago bullying was brought to the attention of then principal Robert Spano (of Tommie Barfield Elementary) Suggestions to hold informative assemblys for the children was totally rejected. I guess it wasn't part of his job.\\
I am for any kind of anti bullying strategy that the school board can come up with. We have assemblies on accepting children with disabilities, why not anti-bullying tactics as well? Unfortunately, we have enough proof to back up what happens to children who are bullied from past school shootings. It's time to stop it.
