These are great projects that will continue to make Marco Island a remarkable place with so many places to enjoy visiting. Appreciating the plants that are best adapted to the area, especially native plants, and efforts to decrease reliance on irrigation and pesticides, it particularly commendable. Kudos to all involved.

This is great news! It is sad that the private utilities were such a bar to progress. If good quality landscaping is not available at this time of the year, perhaps it should be postponed. The rest of the project has wonderful landscaping. This portion is the entrance to the Island. It would be sad to get the landscaping done but not with the same quality just because of a deadline. This project has transformed the appearance of the Island in very positive ways. It is good to know that some of the delays were because the infrastructure underground has been upgraded, and needed to be, in many ways beyond the obvious, as well.
