Is there already a federal mooring field in factory bay?
There is no need for a high school on Marco Island. This serves a few selfish parents at the expense of the many. They can build a private school on private land funded by the parents.
Obama has accomplished two things: 1) jack and 2) squat.
We do not need a high school on Marco.
Pig does not refer to lauralbi1, but to the concept of an unneccessary high school on Marco. I do agree, my note was not very intellectual. Regards.
The pig will not go away!
Bottom line - a waste of time and a waste of money - dressing up a pig does not change the situation.
I agree with deltarome. There may be a significant opportunity to reduce electric costs on Marco. The island might be able to reduce costs and underground the lines as well. A concern would be if the city used this as a source of revenue for unrelated projects. Either way the money would benefit the island. By the way, $20,000 does not buy much in the way of cost benefit analysis.
I would be surprised if a solar project had any real payback. This sounds like a boondoggle to me. From a former energy engineer. Let's see a business case. The payback is probably over 100 years. Just a waste of taxpayer money. Please prove me wrong.
Why individual meetings with city councilers? Why not just meet the city council as a group?
