What qualifies Wayne Waldack for the job? Farmer is going to vote for him because he wants sewers. A one issue vote. Waldack is on sewer, so it won't cost him. It will cost seniors on a fixed income who have septic tanks that work just fine. Please, stop and think. Wayne Waldack is not the man. People, think beyond the sewer issue.

The students at Lely are enjoying an enriching experience. Notice that the people who downgrade Lely do not have kids there. Great story. Thanks for getting the word out.

Lolala is correct about those 2 men. Neither one of them is qualified. People, WAKE UP! A bartender and a backrupted, Amway salesman!!
Farmer, you are definitely qualified to write on the subjects of bother, bluster and blather! I absolutely resent your negative insinuations about an intelligent gentleman like Joe Batte. You obviously do not know the man, and it is a DISGRACE to describe him in such a negative manner.

Vote for Wayne Waldack? You've got to be kidding. What qualifies him? Just that he wants sewers? Use common sense. Consider the larger picture, if you can.

sallyrae, you did not answer my question because there is nothing that qualifies Waldack for the job. He doesn't mind pushing the expense of sewers on his fellow citizens. It won't cost him. He is already on sewers! What makes me leary is that Waldack finds it so easy to spend other people's money. Does he have the experience and judgement to make the complex decisions that need to be made for the good of our city?

On Letter to the editor: A vote for positive thinkers

If you are voting for positive thinkers, that will leave out Wayne Waldack. Have you read his letters to the editor? His letters have been full of anger. Come on. This guy is a nobody who has done nothing. Please do not put him in a position to make decisions for all of us. He is not qualified. Being an usher at church does not qualify him to make the complex decisions that will mold the future of Marco Island. Can anyone tell us why they think this guy is qualified? I have asked this question in previous blogs and no none has given me even one reason.

I must clarify: I know that Mr. Waldack has been an Amway salesman. He approached me about getting involved. I do not know if he is still involved with Amway. That would be interesting to know. To his credit, I must say I appreciated that he did not pursue the Amway issue with me. I made it clear I was already employed and not interested in becoming involved with Amway.

On Waldack is fifth to announce Marco City Council candidacy

Mr. Waldack is NOT QUALIFIED for the city council position. He is an Amway salesman. There is nothing in his past that qualifies him for the position. If he is elected, he will be in over his head. Let's not let this happen to the city we love.

This election is not about sewers, it is about representation of the citizens and making sure Marco Island is a great place to live for all of it's citizens, not just the wealthy folks. Speaking of representation, the candidate who was selling refrigerators at Bill Smith, and has written so many negative letters to this paper, was, and may still be, an Amway salesman. Is this someone you want representing you and making decisions about the future of Marco Island? Is he qualified to represent you?
