The Florida league of Cities which Marco belongs to are extreme advocates of 'HOMERULE' remember that word.
It states in their own charter We will strongly oppose any state legislation that restricts a cities right to force its residents to hookup to a new sewer line.

I do believe you're right. I feel Tucker and the boys control things down here in sw fl.
A bud of mine (acually a Celebrate MArco member) told me the only reason Moss wouldn't float a bond to pay for the sewers(like 99.9999% of a public muni's would do) is that the FEDERAL EPA would then have to get involved and they would not allow the project. Moss and his buddy, Jon Inglehart at the Florida EPA have 'cozied' up nicely to give the green light to this project.
Remember Mr Inglehart, misery loves company.

Moss and the boys think we're a bunch of yahoo retirees half cocked on our medications. I'd have to be high on crack, shooting up heroin while drinking drano to know that this sewer project isn't needed.
