On March 4, 2009, the Ave Maria School of Law held a ribbon cutting ceremony commencing renovations at the school's future North Naples home. The law school, Collier County's first, is scheduled to begin operations in August after moving from Michigan. Ave Maria School of Law founder and Board of Governors Chairman Tom Monaghan speaks at the ceremony after an introduction by the law school's development director Bill Colburn.
