There are many MacGyvers in Southwest Florida who think they have a solution — or THE solution — to plug the Deepwater Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. But none have gotten very far when they tried to contact British Petroleum. “It’s so frustrating because I’m watching this happen and I know that I have a solution that would stop the problem,” said Dale Mattson. “Just trying to get somebody to listen is the problem.”
