Water rushes over a weir along the Golden Gate canal west of Airport-Pulling Road and into the Gordon River, as the Big Cypress Basin drainage system works to lower floodwaters in Golden Gate Estates. Heavy rains over the weekend combined with an unusually wet October to leave roads and yards flooded in rural parts of Collier County.
