Robbers hit jewelry store in Naples

An alert jewelery store owner tried to thwart an attempted armed robbery by ramming his truck into the suspect's vehicle and then firing shots at them. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is responding to an armed robbery in the parking lot at Thalheimers Jewelers at 3200 U.S. 41 N. in Naples. The call came in around 2:30 p.m. Witnesses said they heard approximately six gun shots.
