Naples - Donna Maria Farrell, 79, died peacefully on November 18, 2021. Her life came to a beautiful close after a long health battle. She had daughter Heather Dawn Fernandez, 46, at her side, and Kelly Jane Farrell, 44, guiding her with love. She was born March 31, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to parents Ethel Gahan and Donald Romine, who predeceased her, as did her sister Jane Valery.

She was a proud student of the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute in aeronautical engineering before a long, successful career in computer engineering.

Donna is survived by her daughters and son Jeffrey Michael Stanco, 51. She is also survived by a loving nephew, Scott Valery and his wife Heidi, along with their children Emily and Katrina. She had three step grandchildren, Logan, Autumn and Jadyn, who survive her as well. Her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Banjo, is safely adopted by family.

Donna's services will be held privately out at sea.

In lieu of flowers, bring joy by sending unwrapped toys to the Toy Drive for Louisiana Hurricane Survivors to: 170 18th Street NE, Naples, FL, 34120. They will be delivered by Betty Osceola.
