Rosanne Herling Laurino, of Chicago and Naples Fl. went unexpectedly to her eternal home on August 7, 2022, at age 63. She was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Rosanne is survived by her loving husband William J. Laurino, and devoted son AJ Albert Joseph Prendergast; She was beloved daughter of Maureen and the late Thomas A. Herling; Caring sister to her 6 siblings Sean (Kathleen) Herling, Daniel (Ronald Crook) Herling, Peggy ( the late Stephen) Janes, Thomas P.(Eva) Herling & the late Nancy Herling, the late Anthony (Sharon) Herling, and Eileen (Darryl) Corter. Kind sister-in-law to the late Marie “ Cookie” and John D’Amico, Margaret Laurino (Randy Barnette); Fond niece and cousin; wonderful aunt to 14 nephews and nieces and 13 great nephews/nieces; and many friends. Rose adorned her fur babies Christmas, Cookie, Corky, and Tiggy. Rose graduated Taft High School in 1977 and from Truman College in 1986 as an RN, worked in SICU, radiology, home health, and family practice. She was a member of the porcelain painting group of Naples and gained many lifelong friends there. Rosanne enjoyed worship,music, reading, having a late- night snack and movie, cooking especially for others and hosting parties for family and friends. Rose touched many lives with her zest and joy for life, and her love for Jesus. Rose was always looking for a good deal and relished going to consignment shops, estate sales, and the local Goodwill. Bill and she liked traveling, rooting for the Cubs, and being snowbirds. She attended River of Life Assembly of God in Estero, Florida and loved fellowship with the ladies bible group. A memorial service will be held in Chicago in October.
