Edward Michael Hone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Michael Hone, aged 60, on March 23, 2023, after a brief illness. Ed was born on April 28, 1962, in Barberton, Ohio, to Nancy Hone Tomlinson and the late Edward Richard Hone. The family relocated to Naples, Florida, in 1969, where Ed graduated from Lely High School in 1980.

Ed began his career as a server at Riverwalk and Friars before venturing to Cape Cod and eventually settling in Knoxville. He later moved to Boynton Beach, where he became a Financial Planner and Regional Vice President for Primerica Financial Services. Ed was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and his ability to make friends with anyone he met. He was a loving man, especially to his family, and was known to have the biggest heart of anyone his friends had ever known.

Ed is survived by his two sons, Connor and Logan, who will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Tomlinson and Chuck Shiels, his sisters Catherine Roberson (Craig) and Julie Bissell (Bradford), and his brother Robert Hone (Erin). Additionally, eight nephews and nieces, and many friends will mourn his loss.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time to honor Ed's memory.
