“Marco’s Got Talent” show sponsored by the Marco Island Center for the Arts included 22 Marco youngsters performing 15 acts before a full house.

Ages ranged from 7-18. Each had the opportunity to show off their different talents and just have fun. Acts included song, dance, piano, jump rope and magic.

Hyla Crane, arts center CEO, wanted it to be like a festival.

“Kids love to perform,” said Crane. “No auditions necessary, everyone was welcome.”

Judges Karen Kayser Benson, Laura Spell and Randall Kenneth Jones volunteered their time to watch and speak to the performers after the show, giving them pointers. The winner was Marco Distel, who played a composition on the piano.

“The event is not about competition but the opportunity to share talents with friends, family and the community,” said Crane.
