1. ‘Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End’

“Erma Bombeck: At Wit’s End” is on stage Nov. 29-Dec. 17 at The Marco Players Theater, Marco Town Center Mall, 1089 N. 2. ‘Broadway on the Beach’ 

The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort will host the world premiere of "Broadway on the Beach," a concert review of Broadway songs. The show will star Broadway’s Patrick Mulvey ("Billy Elliot") with additional performances by Conner Meinhart ("First Date the Musical") and Rachel Meinhart ("Chicago"), with Million Dollar Quartet’s Colte Julian on piano and Jeremy Gentry (NBC's "The Voice") on drums. The show will feature stories and songs from the stage and offer a unique glimpse into show business from this family of performers. 3. Holiday season ideas for container gardening

IFAS and Collier County Extension Services/Florida Master Gardener are beginning the holiday season with container gardening ideas from 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at Mackle Park Community Center, 1361 Andalusia Terrace. This program discusses design principles, container and plant selection, planting tips and maintaining your planted containers.
