1. Sunday: 30th Annual Easter Sunrise Service
The 30th Annual Easter Sunrise Service on the Beach will be held at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 1, on the beach at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, 400 S. Collier Blvd., Marco Island.

Pastor Casey Nowlin, The Family Church, will lead the opening prayer, Rev. Kirk Dreiser, Wesley United Methodist Church, will lead the prayer prior to the preaching of the Word and Rev. Thomas McCulley, New Life Community Church, will lead the closing moments and prayer.
The Rev. Dr. Steven Schoof, Senior Pastor at Marco Presbyterian Church, will give the Easter message titled, ‘Can You See Through Your Tears?’
Service begins at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 1, prelude begins at 6:45 a.m. Beach access is North of the Marriott Spa and the public access north of the Madeira Condominium; Resident’s Beach parking lot will open at 6 a.m. for member parking.
The Marco Police and volunteers will direct traffic and assist with parking, including double parking along Collier Boulevard.
Bring a blanket or chair. Special needs: For those who need assistance, handicap parking will be available near the Marriott Spa with golf carts to assist to the edge of the beach.

2. Saturday: Cars as Art
Marco Island Center for the presents the 5th Annual “Cars as Art” from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, March 31, featuring pre-1978 unmodified antique and classic automobiles.
Each of the cars will be judged by qualified art professionals. The event will be held in the Art Center’s parking lot, 1010 Winterberry Drive.
There is a suggested $5 per person donation for visitors. Food and refreshments will be available to purchase. Visitor parking is available across the street at the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island.

3. Saturday: Spring Jubilee and egg hunt
Mackle Park is hosting a big kids’ party Saturday morning – not a party for big kids, but a big party for little kids.
The Spring Jubilee draws thousands, mostly from Marco Island but also from as far away as New Jersey, Argentina, and Poland, who bring the family out for the spectacle.
A host of games and activities kept everyone busy, including an egg hunt. The Spring Jubilee is from 10 a.m. until noon, Saturday, March 31 at Mackle Park, 1361 Andalusia Terrace, Marco Island. Information: cityofmarcoisland.com.
