1. Thursday: Collier Sheriffs’ Hot Summer Nights at Mackle Park

This free family event will feature bounce houses, music, free popcorn, snow cones, hotdogs, a human foosball arena, rock climbing wall and Wii games on a large blow-up screen.

2. Kids Free Fridays: Mammals

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, 300 Tower Road, Naples.

In celebration of the Reserve’s 40th anniversary, this summer education program provides free admission with programming geared towards children ages 12 and younger who are accompanied by an adult.

3. Saturday: Friends of Tigertail quarterly beach cleanup

From 8 until 10 a.m., Saturday, July 14, garbage bags, work gloves and water provided; wear shoes that may get wet, wear sunscreen and/or a hat.

If visitors would 'visit' these bins, cleanups wouldn't be so necessary. Saturday morning, Tigertail Beach on Marco Island received its first clean-up since Hurricane Irma, part of the county-wide Bay Days effort.
