Four One-Act Comedies

The Marco Players Theater is bringing you more of Bruce Kane’s one-act comedies. Marco Island Christmas home tour

Marco Island Christmas Home Tour be held from 12:30 to 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30. Participants will visit four beautiful and distinctive homes on Marco Island, all of which have been lavishly decorated for Christmas. Transportation to the homes will be provided by motor coach. At each home, two extravagant Christmas-themed centerpieces will be raffled to attendees. In addition, Christmas bites and beverages will be served at each home, and attendees may purchase poinsettias and the Marco Island Month-by-Month Gardening Guide at the homes. 5K Family Fun Run

Kiwanis Club of Marco Island will have the annual 5K Family Fun Run on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Tigertail Beach, 430 Hernando Drive, Marco Island. The run/walk goes through Hideaway Beach community. Race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the event begins at 8. Mini masters silent auction, sale

'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum'

Florida Domicile seminars

Attorney William G. Morris announced a series of seminars designed to educate those thinking about making Florida their domicile. Morris will explore issues of concern and how to deal with them. Birds of the Beach Workshop

This workshop will discuss the history of these birds and the annual journeys many of them make. The class will cover the use of plumage, size and behavior to help with identification. November at the Center for the Arts

Marco Island Center for the Arts invites the public to the November “By Virtue of Place: FSU MFA Alumni Exhibition.” The artwork displayed in Lauritzen & Rush Galleries brings together a diverse group of artists who share a common experience and geography. They each received their Master of Fine Arts Degrees from Florida State University (FSU), an interdisciplinary graduate program with a strong focus on research and practice.  The exhibit will be on display from November 5 -20, Monday – Friday, from 9 am to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. In La Petite Galerie: Cheryl Sachs, is a former educator and art teacher from Illinois.  Her palette reflects ever changing colors, light and textures and uses the simplicity of children’s art work as a source of joy and inspiration.

ACBL-sanctioned bridge

Monday night Bingo

Monday Night Bingo is back at the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island, 991 Winterberry Road, for its 20th year. A complimentary supper is served to each player-kosher hot dog, pickles, sauerkraut, relish, and onions served on a special roll. The Knights of Columbus San Marco Council #6344 will host a Bingo night fundraiser in the San Marco Parish Center with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and Bingo starting at 7; it runs every Thursday through Nov. 15. Calling all friends over 60

Join the Marco YMCA and Our Daily Bread Food Pantry for a free lunch the third Thursday of each month at the Family Church on Winterberry.  With the support of local restaurants, businesses and sponsors, a luncheon (free of charge) is open to all area residents “60 or better.” Each monthly event includes a time for networking, lunch, a program, and door prizes.  Rides are also offered. English as a Second Language

East Naples Chair Yoga Class

The daytime pickle ball courts are now available.
