1. Saturday: Leg It for Literacy

On National Literacy Day, RunDurance, Fit2Run Naples and the Literacy Volunteers of Collier County will come together to put on a series of races.

Races include competitive, chip-timed 5K or a family fun run.

Prices start at $25 for the chip-timed event and $20 for the non-competitive fun run.

The event is from 7:30 until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Sugden Regional Park, 4284 Avalon Drive, Naples.

2. Tuesday: Manatee Elementary school outreach

From 5 until 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Marco Island Library, 210 South Heathwood Drive, Marco Island.

Deborah Eby, School Counselor will speak about the school’s enrichment programs and opportunities for community involvement.

3. ‘Christopher Robin’ outdoor family movie night

On Friday, return to The Hundred Acre Wood with Disney’s live action film “Christopher Robin” at Cambier Park in Naples.

Bring seating and enjoy this movie under the stars. 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Cambier Park, 755 Eighth Ave. S., Naples.
