Ocali Country Days Festival: The annual Ocali Country Days Festival will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 13-14 at the Silver River Museum, 1445 NE 58th Ave., Ocala. Visitors at the 1800s-style event can interact with skilled crafters to learn more about blacksmithing, making sugar cane syrup, cooking over an open hearth, log cabins, traditional Seminole cooking and arts, pioneer cattle and horses, spinning, weaving and quilting, and more. Ocala Christmas Parade: The parade will step off at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11. The theme is "A Heroes' Christmas," and the grand marshal will be Ben Marciano.
