Lea Michele, husband Zandy Reich welcome first child: 'Grateful for this true blessing'
Lea Michele and husband Zandy Reich have welcomed their first child.
The actress, 33, announced the news on Instagram Wednesday by sharing a black-and-white photo of her newborn's tiny feet.
"ForEver grateful for this true blessing," Michele captioned the photo.
Michele shared a photo of herself to Instagram at the beach days before sharing news of the baby's birth, sporting a white dress that accentuated her baby bump.
Michele celebrates her 34th birthday Saturday.
The former leading lady of "Glee" announced her pregnancy in May 2020 by proudly displaying her growing bump clad in a blue maxi dress on Instagram with a simple caption: "So grateful."
Her post was met with a flurry of congratulatory messages from colleagues and friends in the comments section of the post which garnered close to 900,000 likes an hour after it was posted.
Michele married Reich, who is president of the clothing company AYR, in March 2019. They married in Napa, California, People reported.
She confirmed the wedding news on Twitter and Instagram, sharing a smiling photo of herself wearing a billowing strapless white gown and clutching a tuxedo-clad Reich’s hand. She carried a bouquet of white roses and wore her hair pulled back in a neat chignon. “3/9/19,” she captioned the image, along with a heart emoji.
The couple gave People the exclusive shot and their statement: “We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family. And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.”
