Kaitlyn Bristowe accepted something better than a rose: an invitation to join "Dancing with the Stars."

On Monday night's episode of "The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever!" Chris Harrison talked to Season 11's bachelorette about her journey and her current relationship with Jason Tartick, ultimately surprising her at the end with the chance to compete on the 29th season of the dance competition show.

"I feel like this is back to the moment where you told me I was the Bachelorette," she shouted on the show. "That is the last thing I thought in the world you were going to say."

The invitation comes despite a previous controversy around her participating in the ABC show.

Bristowe, 34, said she was offered a contract with "Dancing with the Stars" three years ago, but "Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss told her she "wasn't allowed."

She called out the show for double standards.

"I believe men and women should be afforded the same opportunities,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “That has not been the case with the Bachelorettes and the Bachelors. I had an offer to do 'Dancing With the Stars' and was told by Mike I could not. I was told by Mike that it is bad for his brand, and that he is sick of people wanting fame from his show.”

Now, Bristowe is jumping at the opportunity. She took to Instagram that same night to show her excitement about joining her dream show.

"Dancing with the Stars" has not yet announced a specific date for its newest season due to the coronavirus pandemic, but in the meantime Bristowe still plans on rehearsing her dance moves.

"My mom has been sending me plenty of YouTube tutorials on how to ballroom dance," she said to Entertainment Tonight. "I have hired a trainer. I am trying to get into the best shape of my life ... I cut back on the wine, sadly."

She even revealed her dream dance partner to "Good Morning America.".

"I personally would love if Derek Hough could just come back for one season and be my partner," she said on Tuesday.
