Social Scene: Grand Chess champions

In the past two Saturdays at Chess K-12, Marco branch library, the top eight students have qualified for the Round Robin tournament on May 27. The grand champions are Hassan Ali, 4th grade, Tommie Barfield; Dylan Blazier, 12th grade, Naples High; Cameron Cook, 12th grade, Naples High; Michael Distel, 5th grade, Tommie Barfield; Michael Gurgenidze, 5th grade, home school; Herlan Henriquez, 11th grade, Lely High; Jonathan Hurtley, 10th grade, Marco Island Academy and Alex Sousa, 5th grade, Tommie Barfield.
