The Marco Island Yacht Club held its 2nd Annual Nautical Scavenger Hunt on Thursday April 5.

Eight boats and 50 team members participated. Each boat was provided a set of clues to search for items along Marco’s waterways and then snap a photo to document them. Examples of the clues and answers included, “a happy crossing” (answer: the Jolley Bridge) and “Let the kids play after they pray” (answer: playground at Marco Lutheran Church).
The winning team was aboard Lolligaggin,’ skippered by Dick Pantano and a sleuth crew that included Grace Pantano, Dick and Sharon Irwin, and David and Kathy Caruso. Second place went to the Sea Dancer team, skippered by Dave Everitt, and the third place winning team was on Lily, skippered by Geoff Walker.
