Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island celebrated National Garden Week by donating floral designs made by their members to be displayed in five Marco Island public spaces. Participating Marco Island businesses and organizations were Marco Island Civic Association, City Hall, Mutual of Omaha Bank, Marco YMCA and Marco Island Branch of Collier County Public Library. Connie Lowery was chairperson of the event.

The Calusa Garden Club members who designed and donated the floral arrangements were Opi DeFalco, Connie Lowery, Sue Oldershaw, Lindy Kowalczyk, Sara Wolf and Marianne Foley.
