Social Scene: First Friday celebrates Halloween

Marco Eagle

Boo! Halloween was celebrated early at the Local Color Art Gallery’s first Friday open house. Fall leaves seemed to be falling from the ceilings among the twinkle lights and pumpkins adorned the buffet table. Every first Friday of the month the artists host an open house with wine, champagne and a fab buffet. Regulars, returning snowbirds and newbee’s came by to kick off the season. New artworks fill the walls each month with gallery artists on hand to talk about their work. Next first Friday is 5 p.m., Nov. The gallery is located above the shops of Olde Marco on Palm Drive. See you there … gobble, gobble.
