Marco’s 4-year old students launched into an exciting year of transitions and discovery as the new school year began.

St. Mark’s Preschool recently welcomed 40 students whose curious eyes brightened as they entered the vivid, learning wonderland.

St. Mark's Preschool uses the natural curiosity of children to teach math, reading, and critical thinking skills, taking a whole-child approach to early education. Teachers and support staff work together to meet the intellectual, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of each and every child they serve.

“The children quickly get into the school routine. Our goal is to have everyone prepared for Tommie Barfield’s kindergarten.

St. Mark’s Preschool is a literacy rich environment. It makes books and learning come alive using acting, puppetry, and action songs. Children learn math through games and exploration. The program includes STEM classes, “Kindermusik @ School,” Spanish, art, Godly play, physical education, and gardening throughout the day,” explains Director Peggy Totten. “Most importantly, our children learn through play!”
